THE STORY OF LETSSHARE.TV

MISSION OF LETS-SHARE.TV

What is Lets-Share?

What is Letsshare.tv?

Letsshare.tv is based on the fact that there are people that want to help and that there are people who need help. How much people are willing to help depends on the distance between the two, geographically as well as on human and emotional level. So if you bridge these gaps between the two, the total amount of help will rise.

How do we bridge the gap?

To see is to believe. A picture has the same effect of a thousand words, while a movie has the effect of one million words. Live picture or movie broadcast the effect of 100 million words because people know that it's happening right now. The medium we use is internet. Its a worldwide medium and Letsshare.tv is focussing worldwide, with the first focus on actions within the Philippines.

The first stage: awareness

You can not expect to change the world within a year or so. But what you can do is change the mentality of the young people in the world to change the future. The young ones believe in dreams and are on average much positiver then elder people. They want to be part of a cool and happy world without problems. Letsshare.tv wants to be the positive organisation that shows sharing and caring in a cool and modern way where young people want to be part of.

What is the awareness?

The awareness we want to create has two sides. We focus on both the rich and the poor people in the world. For the rich people we show that sharing and caring is a good thing to do. That it gives you love and happiness and that there is more then just the big car. For the poor people we show that holding up the hand for money is not the way to go. You actually have to do something yourself to make a progress.

How do we create the awareness?

We creat the awareness by showing a cool group of people that travels around by boat in a tropical environment: the Philippine islands. Wherever they come they help the people and it makes them happy to do that. They offer help in a way the people here appreciate, with a party and a smile. So we work on awareness and help people here at the same time.

For the rich people: This group has people of diverse generations, men and women, diverse nationalities, diverse religions, diverse culture and much more. But they give each other respect, understanding and it gives back love, peace and happiness. They have one goal they all work for. And they show its possible on a small scale, so why not on a bigger one.....

For the poor people: (especially in the Philippines) There are young people in the group that dont have a lot. But they actullay want to do something. They want investment and not just money. As soon as they get possibilities, they grab them with both hands.

The second stage: helping charity organisations

The Letsshare.tv project proves that working with pictures and movies, connected with explaining text works. People that want to donate money or want to help want to see where the money of the result of their efforts is going to.

The result of showing projects on the internet is that people who can help get in action. We bridge the gap and then people start to move because its no longer an unknown group of people in a far away country. It comes right on your doorstep and you get to know the people in need.

And afterwards you see the result of your efforts. You see the happy children, the happy people, the realized kitchen, the finished library etc. You know that your money went to where you wanted it to go. This creates a happy feeling and the will to do more.

Letsshare.tv is focussing on positivity. Showing the happiness that is the result of donations or efforts from abroad. We make a movement where people want to be part of, because it gives them a happy feeling.

The viewer as it is now will expand soon. We are opening other channels for charity organizations. They can show their own organization, introduce their projects and get donations and sponsors for certain projects. Letsshare showed that it worked.

Letsshare.tv has made this system to help charity organizations that work with volunteers. For the people our there in the fields that dont want to spend money on advertisement for fundraising. They can show their organization and projects in our system and raise money by internet paying systems or have sponsors for specific projects.

Our goal is to make a system that the people who donate know the money goes directly to where it should go. And they can see where it goes to...

We did several projects last year, to know more about what we do you can look at what we documented about these projects in our chapters. Or join our network for free to see even more and communicate with other members around the world.

We can guarantee you that all donations will go 100% to charity projects. This viewer is a great oppurtunity to show you through pictures and movies the projects where your donations go to.

How can you help?

If you want to share your ideas with us or if you're interested in making a donation, just send an e-mail to eric@letsshare.tv.
